Located at the terminus of Taihaku-dori Boulevard leading from Hakata Station, Fukuoka Marina blends a variety of uses together and integrates a series of facilities including an exhibition center, Dojo Hall, ferry terminals, a small-craft marina and a viewing tower.
Retail, office, hotel and entertainment facilities will be added, along with open park space and waterfront promenade extensions. This layering of uses will create a cross-section of versatility that aims to help shape the urban fabric within Fukuoka and increase the district’s usability.
