Drawing from a rich history, the Chengdu Urban Center transforms cultural themes into a cogent narrative in the midst of Chengdu’s new and rapidly expanding status as a modern mega-city. Sited on the banks of the Nan He River, the Chengdu Urban Center master plan is a direct reflection of the history, geology and topography of the region commonly referred to as ‘The Land of Abundance’. A mixed-use development of 18 towers and 3.4 million square feet of space, the project represents the diverse culture where the oldest irrigation system in the world coincides with an economic and technology powerhouse of the modern day.
