In the historic inland seaport of Chongqing, near where the Jialing and Yangtze rivers meet, Starry Street stands as a mixed-use center combining retail, residential and entertainment. The first two parts of this three-phase project consists of residential towers atop a six-story dining and entertainment podium with views of the city and mountains beyond the water.
The reimagined podium façade is clad in recessed glass and hundreds of color-changing LED lights. Between columns that tilt out toward the Jialing river, restaurants and bars gather on alcove terraces that use earthy stone and wood material on their exterior.
