Located in Shanghai’s downtown district, Shanghai Expo Axis is a mixed-use project that spans over 2 million square feet. Focused on movement of the pedestrian over a substantial distance, the layout breaks blocks into places of interest and exploration. As a high-profile district, the site offers restaurants, exhibitions, events, conventions, hotels and entertainment. Within the hotel complex are two full service luxury convention hotels and three boutique hotels. The roof level creates further exploratory space that features light structures which serve as key components to the project’s identity.
