Aura currently stands as the largest enclosed mall in Novosibirsk, Russia. Its design conveys a sense of light and warmth in one of the coldest places on earth, Russia’s southern region of Siberia.
The façade consists of back-lit boxes of yellow and orange glass alternated with boxes of metal paneling printed with an abstract tulip, the city flower. Its four levels consist of three main sections that include the Grand Arcade for fashion retailers, Market Street for the hypermarket and a food court with cabana-like seating.
The project’s high connectivity and accessibility can be attributed to its site location which intersects two major metro stops in the city center. Through its warm color palette, Aura invites users to experience its bright interior spaces and wide range of shopping options within the city center.
